Playful Paths – playful paths

The aim of the project is to support women who re-enter the labour market after years of absence, mostly having children.

Although we cannot change the systemic flaws and problems of the labour market, we want to empower women to plan their careers and personal goals, by strengthening control over their competences and by helping them to better approach work and balance.

In other areas of career and life coaching, there are already methods that can be adapted to this target group: Symbolwork, Folktale work (“fairy tale therapy”) and Playwork.

To achieve this goal, the following steps are planned:

• developing an online training curriculum for women’s counsellors and facilitators, including modules that can be applied to women staying at home
• collect and develop guidelines for methods as part of the training material
• organise transnational education and training events for facilitators from participating countries
• hold national online training events for women and counselors
