EJO4Youth – Effective Job Orientation for Youth

The main aim of the EJO4Youth (Effective Job Orientation for Youth) project is to provide tools for professionals who work with young people (both in elementary and secondary level) facing issues of future carrier choices.

There is also a career guidance system in Hungarian schools, and the person-centered approach used in this project, which also uses the tools of symbolwork, can be a great complementary or stand-alone approach to facilitate career guidance. This is highly effective with those young people who do not know „what they want in life”. There is a steadily growing number among students who cannot find their personal goals, are not motivated and find the life of work and study meaningless or uncomprehensible.

In this way, the project will expand the toolbox of professionals, including educators, who want to provide real, usable, tangible help to young people stuck in the current system.
