Mobility for youth workers
Kobuleti, Georgia
18-26 November 2015
Within Erasmus+, a training course is a project where youth workers and youth leaders come together for several days to develop their knowledge, skills, and attitudes on a certain theme. The daily programme of the course is based on learning objectives and facilitated by experienced trainers. The training courses promote the initiative and creativity of participants and have a direct impact on their future youth work or youth policy activities, such as organising quality projects and providing intercultural and non-formal learning experiences for young people.
Altogether 35 people from Armenia, Belrarus, Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Georgia, Germany, Hungary, Moldova, Netherlands, Slovak Republic and Ukraine took part in the training course.
Aims and specific objectives of the project:
- To understand human rights and the state of human rights violations in European countries, especially the situation of sexual minorities,
- To deconstruct the interdependencies between human rights and democratic participation,
- To identify possible grass-root and youth-based measures for human rights protection,
- To plan youth-based follow-up projects to foster human rights protection on local and European levels.
